So I’m sure that you may be wondering… “What the heck happened?! You fell off the face of the earth for like 3 years!”

Well… You’d be right. I honestly have no excuse other than… I didn’t post anything. I still made crafts (quite a lot of them, actually). I did have some major life events happen though. Like, you know. I got engaged! And then I made a bunch of craft stuff for the wedding (posts about that to come later). And we bought a house and moved and then we got a dog… and then we got another dog (both of them are pictured below)… and I changed jobs twice through all of that… It’s been a lot.

I think the big thing that kind of happened for me was that I stopped posting to focus on some of the major stuff going on, and then I really didn’t know how to get back into the swing of things… And that’s on me.

I would like to thank my lovely husband for continuing to promote my blog, even though it was dead for all that time. He’s also the reason I’m actually finding the motivation to come back to this.

My husband recently found his creative side in 3D printing, and he’s wanting to start his own blog for it to help document some of that process. And so he came to the resident blogger… me! And that really got me thinking about my own blog and how I wanted to get back to it.

Well… I’m back, baby! And I’m (hopefully) not going anywhere this time. I’ll try to do better about adding more posts (since I at least have 3 years worth of projects to add), and keeping you all updated if there’s going to be any major life changes that will call for extended absences. With that being said, I plan to start working on getting some new posts up within the next week.

Thanks for sticking with me and my inconsistency. – Jo

P.S. I may be playing with the overall look of the blog since there’s a lot more options now than there were three years ago when I started this whole mess…
